FWC’s Alcohol and Drugs Model Rehabilitation Unit (in-patient and out-patient) offers professional and affordable low cost services for persons in need of interventions for: –

  1. Alcohol and drugs use, abuse and/or dependence
  2. Addictions
  3. Detoxification

FWC offers Therapeutic Communities (TCs) approach to Rehabilitation. TCs have a recovery orientation, focusing on the whole person and overall lifestyle changes, not simply abstinence from drug use.

Other alternative therapies that FWC apply compliment clinical treatments by targeting physical, mental and social aspects of recovery including: –

  1. Creative art therapy in modeling, painting, music, art, etc.
  2. Recreation services for physical fitness, mental alertness and reflecting skills

This Unit is set on a one storey building (on 6.5 acres’ piece of land) within Nyamathi Village, Karai area of Naivasha, off Nairobi – Naivasha Highway (GPS Coordinates -0.78854, 36.496310) which comprises one Main office, 25 executive Self Contained Rooms, 4 conference cum training rooms, a Computer Lab and Library, one Staff / Common Room, a Kitchen, 2 Court yards, an open field and the usual conveniences.

This Unit is Registered and Licensed to operate by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) as a Level 3B medical facility; accredited by NACADA, and the County Government of Nakuru after undergoing and passing a series of stringent inspection. Contracting with NHIF is at its final stage.
