
As part of giving back to the society, Family Wellness Centre and its sister institution, Boma Training Institute (BTI) organizes free monthly online Family Series of Psycho-education sessions to create awareness on contemporary matters affecting families.
Further FWC in collaboration with Professionals, Sponsors and other Stakeholders has been provides psycho-social support, training, workshops, seminars and creating awareness about community issues towards: –
- Supporting people and communities in achieving and maintaining their best possible health and social well-being.
- Providing holistic wellness programs and services
- Need for clean water for the community for domestic use, watering animals and minor agricultural use
- Providing education on sustainable best practices to help reduce barriers that prevent people and communities from achieving their full wellness potential; health and well-being caused by poverty.
- Creating awareness on prevention of unwanted pregnancies and risk of HIV infection
- Promoting cohesion and training on conflict resolution amongst families, community members and members from different community and cultural backgrounds and diverse religious and beliefs affiliations
- Providing programs that enhance life skills, promote teambuilding, stigma reduction, social skills, parenting and developmental milestones across the life span
- Providing Mediation, Cohesion & Conflict Resolution Services among communities
- Psychosocial support to local communities
- Providing any community service that will be beneficial to a community
